Writing
I find the process of writing or pulling together and organising information is a great way to challenge and strengthen my understanding. I like this quote from Martin Fischer.
“Knowledge is a process of piling up facts; wisdom lies in their simplification.”
To gain the clarity to be able to see concepts from multiple angles and confidently explain them to others in simple ways requires lots of thought, over extended periods of time. I learn a lot from those who have mastered domains to this extent. I find myself zigzagging through an inefficient process of making sense of education, teaching and learning. The things here are part of that attempt.
